Job Description
Overall Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the office of the Director/CEO the Principle Officer – M&E will be responsible for monitoring progress, analyzing data and evaluating outcomes to ensure that the Training Centre is achieving its desired goals.
Key Responsibilities

Support the development of the M&E system in line with the needs of KGRTC operations
-
Undertake effective monitoring and evaluation of the Training Centre’s activities in order to assess performance and recommend interventions for improvement.

Develop monitoring and evaluation tools and systems in order to support implementation of remedial measures.

Conduct analysis of quantitative as well as qualitative data on all operational inputs, outputs and outcomes.

Develop and review M&E policies to guide implementation of procedures.

Conduct mid-term and annual performance review of the KGRTC Strategic Plan in order to facilitate implementation of appropriate interventions and support achievement of set objectives.

Supervise and coordinate application of monitoring tools to track performance.

Prepare and disseminate M&E reports on the progress of programmes or strategy implementation.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements;

Full Grade 12 Certificate
-
Bachelors Degree in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline.

At least three (3) years work experience in a similar role.

Must be a self starter.
Specific Skill Requirements
The candidate must possess the following specific skills
-
Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports.

Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software
-
Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative monitoring methodologies and proven ability to design monitoring instrumentation tools.

Strong facilitation skills

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Good project management skills

Good organization and planning skills
