The
key purpose
of this role is to be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing mechanical systems and equipment within utilities. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on pumps, compressors, and boilers to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Key roles and responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment on pumps, compressors, boilers, cooling systems, and other utilities equipment.

Ensure all mechanical systems are operating efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime.

Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and ensure timely servicing of all utilities equipment.

Regularly inspect mechanical systems and utilities equipment to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.

Monitor equipment performance using diagnostic tools and predictive maintenance techniques.

Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to mechanical systems and utilities.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Report any issues or irregularities to the relevant supervisors or engineering teams.
Minimum Requirements:

1-2 Years as a Mechanical Artisan or Electrician

Min – Full Technician Certificate (FTC)

Ideal – Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
