Our client is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will oversee procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services necessary for solar projects.
Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to support company goals and objectives.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the procurement process.

Supplier Management:

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.

Purchasing Operations:

Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for solar projects.

Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards.

Manage purchase orders, contracts, and agreements with suppliers.

Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary materials and avoid overstocking.

Coordinate with project managers and other departments to forecast demand and plan inventory requirements.

Cost Control:

Analyze market trends and conduct cost analyses to ensure competitive pricing.

Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supply chain activities.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement.

CFA or equivalent certification preferred.
