We are recruiting!

Our client in the fertilizer and seed production is looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist  to join their team.

Minimum Experience

• 3 – 5 years of experience, including a track record of 2 years in a technical position.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in sourcing and procurement processes, including cost analysis, risk management and supplier evaluation

Strategy Formulation and Execution
• Implement operational procurement plans for the Business Unit to ensure an efficient and effective procurement function.
• Provides insights into cost-saving opportunities and informs strategic sourcing decisions.

Operational Effectiveness
• Conduct sourcing project analysis, prepare detailed specifications and Terms of Reference, and approve sourcing project plans to manage and execute sourcing projects effectively.
• Identify suitable suppliers, prepare and issue RFQ/RFP/RFI, and monitor open sourcing events to engage potential suppliers.

Sustainable Growth
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements within the Procurement environment.

Good Governance, Risk and Compliance
• Obtain internal and selected supplier signatures, review and accept procurement awards, and initiate supplier contracting to finalize procurement agreements.
