ABOUT THE ROLE
We seek a highly motivated Production Manager to lead and optimize our production operations. This role demands a strategic leader with expertise in oil extraction, feed production, and mealie meal processing, coupled with an unwavering commitment to safety.

KEY RESPOSIBLITIES

Manage and optimize production schedules for oil, feed, and mealie meal to meet targets.

Ensure efficient resource utilization (raw materials, equipment, labor) while minimizing costs.

Lead, mentor, and motivate production teams to achieve operational excellence.

Implement rigorous quality control measures to uphold product standards and compliance.

Collaborate cross-functionally (procurement, logistics, maintenance) for seamless operations.

Safety First: – Develop, enforce, and monitor safety protocols to ensure a zero-incident workplace.

Analyze production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and sustainability.

Maintain accurate records of inventory, output, and operational costs.

REQUIRED QUALIFACTION

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

5+ years’ experience in production management, preferably in food processing or FMCG.

Proven expertise in oil extraction, feed, and mealie meal production processes.

Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.

Experience in quality assurance and familiarity with ERP/production software.

Non-negotiable: – Demonstrated success in implementing and maintaining safety programs.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving prowess.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
