EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The Zambia Health Education and Communication Trust (ZHECT) is an indigenous Zambian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), registered under the laws of Zambia and dedicated to providing high quality health services, social behaviour change interventions, research and capacity building for the improvement of the health status and general wellness of people in Zambia. ZHECT has accumulated a wealth of experience in providing Sexual Reproductive Health and HIV prevention and mitigation services to organizations and community mainly in Zambia. ZHECT is therefore focused on HIV/AIDS/STI prevention, Sexual Reproductive Health, Gender Based Violence and Economic Empowerment among vulnerable and hard to reach communities.

ZHECT is bidding to facilitate the implementation of HIV Prevention works in 32 districts across the country in conjunction with Global Funds under the Ministry of Health.

To ensure smooth and effective implementation of the project, ZHECT is seeking applications from well qualified candidates for the following positions;

2. Program Manager: 1 Position

The Program Manager will assist the Director in program management, coordinating activities, and liaising with SSRs. They will also be responsible for monitoring program and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a health or social sciences or population studies or its equivalent, with Masters in a relevant field, and Not less than 5 years’ experience in HIV Programming and demonstrable bias towards HIV prevention interventions.
