Job Title: Programmes Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Programmes Officer to support the design, development, and implementation of various projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in proposal development, resource mobilization, and providing oversight during program execution to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead resource mobilization efforts by identifying and engaging potential donors and partners, developing targeted strategies to enhance funding opportunities for project initiatives.
Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and design innovative projects that align with organizational goals, ensuring all designs are feasible and impactful.
Assist in drafting and editing project proposals, ensuring they meet donor requirements and effectively convey project objectives and methodologies.
Provide oversight for programme implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Monitor project activities and progress, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while providing regular updates to management.
Facilitate communication with stakeholders, including partners, beneficiaries, and donors, to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with project goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Sociology, Social Sciences.
At least 2 years of experience in project management or related roles
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Teams etc.
