Programs Officer

We seek to hire a Programs Officer who will support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of projects and programs. Reporting to the Projects Coordinator, the role requires a proactive and organized individual with strong coordination and communication skills. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring programs deliver impact in line with organizational objectives.

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of program proposals, work plans, and concept notes.
• Support day-to-day program implementation and logistical coordination.
• Liaise with beneficiaries, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
• Collect and organize program data for monitoring and evaluation.
• Contribute to regular program reports, case studies, and success stories.
• Support preparation of program-related budgets and expenditure tracking.
• Assist in stakeholder engagement, partner meetings, and advocacy efforts.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of program records.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in program implementation or project support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management tools.
• Ability to organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Passion for community development and social impact.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
