Wah Kong Enterprises Limited is one of the leading Construction Company in Zambia. We seek to recruit a
Project Assistant
to Join our Team in Manyinga/Kabompo.
Key Responsibilities
:

Able to review blueprints and other Project plans
-
Able to interpret structural and architectural drawings
-
Contribute to the development of Project plans, schedules and budget in collaboration with the Project Manager and RDA.

Able to address and resolve technical issues that may arise during construction
-
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of project activities including daily reports, weekly progress updates and any changes or deviations
-
Able to understand the Road Standards and ensure compliance with all health and safety and other statutory requirements are met
-
Maintain a good relationship with all the Stakeholders including the local Government, RDA and the site employees through constant communication and updates.

Facilitate all communications including promptly responding to emails among team members, subcontractors and stakeholders and provide updates on the Project progress and addressing any concerns they may have.

Represent the Company at project related meetings as requested

Able to read and interpret all the Project contracts.

Able to meet deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications
-
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
-
2 years experience and at least one year on site on a major construction project
-
Member of EIZ
-
Have excellent communication skills
-
Must possess Project Management skills
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ready and willing to relocate to the Project site in Manyinga/Kabompo
