The Government of the Republic of Zambia, through the Ministry of Education (MOE) is implementing various education programmes aimed at improving equitable access to quality education. With support from the World Bank, the Ministry of Education is implementing two overarching projects namely: The Zambia Enhancing Early Learning (ZEEL) Project and the Zambia Education Enhancement Project (ZEEP). Since 2017, the World Bank has been supporting the Ministry in implementing the ZEEP and in order to deepen the human capital impact of ZEEP, the project coverage was expanded by including complementary activities and added coverage to enhance education outcomes especially for girls.
