Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Lusaka. The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing engineering projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering projects.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee project design, implementation, and completion.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans.
• Prepare and present project reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of project management principles and engineering processes.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• At least 5-7 years of experience in project engineering.
