The Toka-Leya Bible Translation Project is accepting applications for candidates to fill a full-time position of: Project Exegete
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
-
to assist translation teams to properly exegete from English and Greek source texts
-
guide the process of translation into the receptor language, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
-
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Bible and/or a related discipline.
-
Familiarity with Greek/Hebrew.
-
Courses in any of the following: sociolinguistics, morphology, syntax, semantics, discourse analysis, translation principles, and cultural anthropology.
