Name of the position: Project Manager
Location: Mongu (With frequent visits to project locations in Limulunga, Kaoma and Choma districts)
Contract duration: From time of hire up to 31st December, 2025
Start Date: As soon as possible

Scope of Works:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive implementation of the multi-year climate-resilient agricultural development project across the Western and Southern Provinces of Zambia. His/her duties include leading strategic planning and execution in line with the project’s objectives of enhancing climate adaptation, food security, and income diversification among rural farmers. The Project Manager will coordinate a consortium of international and local partners, including NGOs, governmental bodies, private sector actors, and academic institutions, ensuring timely delivery of outputs, financial accountability, and compliance with donor requirements. S/he will supervise the implementation of key activities such as baseline assessments, capacity-building programs, establishment of farm labs and demonstration sites, facilitation of access to finance and clean energy, and promotion of sustainable agricultural practices. Moreover, the Project Manager will lead stakeholder engagement, policy advocacy, community feedback mechanisms, and ensure the integration of cross-cutting themes such as gender equity, environmental sustainability, and innovation. Regular reporting, risk management, and monitoring & evaluation will be essential components of their role to ensure that the project meets its targets and delivers long-term impact.
