A leading digital imaging company in Lusaka urgently seeks to employ a dynamic, energetic, self-motivated and results oriented individual with proven success to fill up the position of PROJECT MANAGER

Summary Description: The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing digitization projects within the company, from the commencement through to completion. You will work closely with your team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinating project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
• Acting as the point of contact and communicating project status adequately to all participants
• Assisting in documenting project phases & creating status reports for management.
• Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves.
• Ensuring that each team has the tools it needs to meet project milestones.
• Using project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans, and money spent.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
• Working with on-site personnel to handle issues as they arise.
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Reporting and escalating to the General manager as needed.
• Building a strong team by cultivating relationships between each team and illustrating how individual team members affect the success of the entire project

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCED REQUIRED

• A degree in IT or a related field is preferred.
• A certificate in project management will be an added advantage.
• Proven working experience in digitization or related IT projects.
• Experience overseeing projects through the full life cycle.
• Excellent leadership, client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills including diplomacy and tact in dealing with a variety of people and situations.
• Ability to display initiative and remain flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of digitization procedures, workflows, and standard
• Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Sensitivity to confidential matters
