Job Description

Purpose: Working with and reporting to the MSZ PSS Channel Lead, the Provincial Mentor is a member of the Health Services Team. The main focus of this post is to:

1) Ensure that CAC clinics achieve service delivery targets and fully comply with donor and government expectations;

2) Ensure high quality standards are maintained in all aspects of clinical and customer service delivery,

3) Ensure that all CAC providers are oriented in all the medical and non-medical MSI and MoH guidelines and protocols. Furthermore, the outreach manager is responsible for the development, uptake and adherence of the new MSZ stock policy.

The Provincial Mentor supervises all CAC MoH providers to ensure effective implementation and continual improvement of CAC service delivery in all MoH CAC clinics.

Key Responsibilities

Successful delivery and expansion of CAC services through the public sector.

Leadership and Development

Objective:  Energetic, innovative, capable and appropriately managed service delivery teams with frequent interaction between clinics.

Clinical Standards and Client Care

Objective: High quality standards maintained, and client satisfaction achieved at all delivery sites.

Systems Strengthening

Objective: A high standard of operational efficiency and effectiveness in MoH CAC/FP clinics with clear, transparent systems in place.
