Job Description:

Lumina Ventures is looking for a compassionate Psychiatrist to join our mental health team in Lusaka. The Psychiatrist will diagnose and treat mental health disorders, providing psychiatric care to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
Diagnose and treat mental illnesses and disorders.
Develop personalized treatment plans, including therapy and medication.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in distress.
Collaborate with other mental health professionals for comprehensive care.

Requirements:

Valid medical license as a Psychiatrist in Zambia.
Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatments.

Education:

Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
Residency training in Psychiatry.

Skills:

Excellent diagnostic and assessment skills.
Empathetic patient care.
Effective communication and counseling abilities.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing Psychiatrist.
