Job Description

Job Role: PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for maintaining a positive image for their organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Media Relations : Building and maintaining relationships with media personnel and writing press releases.
  • Publicity Events : Organizing events to generate positive publicity and managing communication initiatives.
  • Image Management : Creating and distributing content that communicates the organization’s programs and accomplishments.
  • Monitoring Trends : Keeping track of important news stories and trends that may affect the organization.
  • These roles require strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and experience in public relations.

Required skills

  • Excellent Communication : Strong writing and speaking skills are essential for conveying messages clearly and persuasively.
  • Strategic Thinking : Ability to develop long-term strategies that contribute to the organization’s goals.
  • Creativity : Innovative ideas for campaigns and events to engage audiences effectively.

Education/Experience:

  • BSc degree in Public Administration or relevant field
  • Master’s Degree-will be an Added Advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 5 years and above experience preferably in Public Administration.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to travel country-wide when required

Physical Exam Required : Police Clearance
