Job Summary:
Emerald Sky is seeking a meticulous and organized Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement team in acquiring goods and services essential for our operations. In this role, you will assist with sourcing suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring that inventory levels are maintained to meet operational needs. Your contributions will be crucial in helping us achieve cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time.

Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods.

Maintain and update the purchasing database, including supplier information and product specifications.

Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.

Monitor inventory levels and assist in the forecasting of future purchasing needs.

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and pricing.

Handle supplier inquiries and resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries.

Prepare reports on purchasing activities, including savings achieved and supplier performance metrics.

Support other administrative tasks as needed within the procurement department.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a corporate environment.
