QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER VACANCY
Proflight Zambia is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Quality Control Manager in our expanding operations. This position is integral to the Proflight Zambia Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), which is the foremost provider of comprehensive maintenance support for a fleet of 10 airliners in Zambia.
Position: Quality Control Manager (01)
Contract Term: 2 Years
Reports to: Director of Maintenance
Location: Proflight Hangar 15A, KKIA
Deadline for Submissions: 31st March 2024
Start Date: 1st May 2024
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The QCM is responsible for the following:
a) Ensuring that all maintenance work on Proflight aircraft is done safely and correctly in accordance with the relevant Zambian Laws (ZCARS) and international air legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures..
b) Ensuring that the published quality control systems within Proflight Zambia AMO are followed.
c) Carrying out regular internal audits of the quality control procedures, provide the DSQS with updates and concerns on quality control related issues.
d) Maintaining a neat, orderly, and current filing system for AMO personnel, service providers, contracted AMOS, ZCAA correspondence etc.
e) Ensuring airworthiness certification is maintained in accordance with state legislation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma/Degree in Aeronautical Electronics/Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent Lead Auditing
Qualification
Zambian B1 or B2 Licence or any equivalent Licence acceptable to the ZCAA
Good Knowledge of Zambia Civil Aviation Regulations
Minimum 8 years experience in Airline operations
Minimum of one current aircraft type authorization, preferable on the type operated by Proflight Zambia. J32/J41/CRJ200
