We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team for an exciting on-site project based in Kitwe. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and a proven track record of managing construction costs, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and cost estimates.

Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of materials and resources.
Provide accurate valuation reports and assist in contract administration.

Negotiate contracts, prices, and variations to achieve cost efficiency.

Conduct risk assessments and recommend solutions to mitigate financial risks.

Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

3-5 years of proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably in a construction environment.

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost planning, and project management.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proficient in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD, WINQS. PLAN SWIFT e.t.c).
Employment Type:
Contract: 1 year (with possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements).

Kitwe (on-site position)
