Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documentation.
• Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures and prepare financial reports to ensure projects remain within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations to management.
• Tendering Process: Assist in the preparation of tender documents, analyze bids, and provide recommendations for contractor selection.
• Contract Management: Manage contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Negotiate contract terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for management, detailing project costs, budgets, and forecasts. Provide insights on financial performance and risk management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure financial alignment with project goals.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Conduct regular reviews to track project performance and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
