Millennium Radio Limited, Zambia’s first ever talk and news radio station invites applications from suitably qualified self motivated and committed Zambians for the position of Technician.

The desired candidate must possess the following Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• Minimum of Grade 12 level of education
• Diploma in journalism or its equivalent from recognised institutions
• Requisite training in broadcasting and sound engineering
• Traceable experience in similar roles in a radio station environment
• Familiarity with radio broadcasting equipment and technology, including mixers, audio processors, microphones, recorders, and studio software.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical audio problems efficiently with a team-oriented approach.
• Must be familiar with audio editing and sound mixing for radio production.
• Knowledge of music editing software and digital audio workstations (DAWs).
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Awareness of media legislation
