JOB PURPOSE
To manage corporate affairs of the Agency through the Communication Strategy, projects and campaigns aimed at enhancing the Agency’s corporate image, public awareness, support for environmental protection and management issues in the country.
MAIN DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABLITIES
Main Duties and Accountabilities
The main duties of the Manager Corporate Affairs include;
-
Efficient and effective management of the Corporate Affairs Department. ii. Ensure the implementation of the communication policies and programs to enhance visibility of the Agency.

Timely dissemination of environmental and corporate information.

Timely management and processing of press releases, media queries. v. Contribute towards the development of work plans for the Department. vi. Represent the Department at management meetings.

Ensure the preparation of departmental monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Activate
-
Preparation and effective execution of departmental work (plaris and t budgets.
-
Manage the Performance Management System for the Departmental staff.

Coordinate the production and dissemination of State of the Environment reports and other publications.

Management of the Agency’s Social media platforms.
-
Coordinate the Agency’s team building exercises and other corporate events.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent.
-
Degree in Public Relations or related field.
-
A Master’s Degree or postgraduate qualification in Public Relations, Mass Communication/Journalism or related field will be an added advantage.
Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience
-
Five (5) years’ work experience in a reputable organization, of which five (3) years must have been at Senior Management level
-
Member of the Zambia Public Relations Association (ZAPRA).

Experience in community/stakeholder engagement will also be added advantage.

Experience in environmental communication or related field will be an added advantage.
