Are you a fully qualified Pharmacist looking for a new opportunity?
We are urgently seeking a passionate and experienced pharmacist to join us in Chipata, Eastern Province!
JOB PURPOSE
The Pharmacist will work independently or as a team to ensure medicines reconciliation, safe dispensing, and customer/patient counselling and carry out the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy and drive daily sales.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out day-to-day pharmacy operations such as stocking and dispensing.

Ensure inventory of drugs stocked in the storeroom is accurate and applicable. Where discrepancies are found, timely reports are to be prepared, together with recommendations on how to handle the issue.

Maintain and promote standards of good pharmaceutical practice at all times.

Receive written prescriptions from customers and verify that the information contained is complete and accurate

Ensure that all customers/patients are advised comprehensively of the actions of their prescribed medication, including correct dosage, side effects and signs of sensitivity.

Ensure all stock orders are prepared on time and with proper authorization and new stock orders are checked on arrival.

Prepare and submit monthly report of levels and drug usage.
Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Pharmacy

Must be registered and licensed with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (H.P.C.Z)

Computer literate with experience using excel, Google Sheets, internet, etc.

Strong customer service skills and ability to stay calm under difficult conditions.
Job Experience: more than three (3) years of working experience in a pharmacy
