We are a growing but startup management consultancy firm focused on evidence-based solutions for social and economic development. We work at the intersection of research, policy, and innovation supporting businesses, governments and NGOs to make better decisions through research, data, insights, capacity building, ICT and strategic analysis.

About the Role

We are looking for a Research Intern to support our core work, research design, data collection and analysis, and proposal development. You will work closely with a small, agile team and get exposure to real-world projects in policy research, program evaluation, and strategic advisory.

Key Responsibilities

• Support desk research and literature reviews on thematic focus areas (e.g., youth employment, health, education, entrepreneurship)
• Assist in the design and execution of data collection tools (surveys, interviews, focus groups)
• Clean, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data
• Draft short reports, briefing notes, and data summaries
• Help write proposals and concept notes for funding opportunities and partnerships
• Contribute to research and pipeline tracking
• Support development of infographics and slide decks for presentations
• Participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions as part of a small team
• Perform administrative or support tasks related to projects, as needed

Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Economics, Data Science, or related fields
• Solid research and writing skills, with attention to clarity and structure
• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with a data analysis tool (SPSS, R, Python, or STATA) is a plus
• Basic understanding of the proposal development process
• Curious, analytical, and self-motivated
• Interest in policy, research, and working in an early-stage, impact-driven organisation
