Job Purpose

The Retail Filling Station Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a Filling station. This includes managing staff, monitoring customer service and sales, controlling inventory and stock levels, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to, and ensuring the efficient running of the business. The manager will also responsible for ensuring that customer needs are met and that customer satisfaction is maintained.

Qualification and Experience

  • Degree or Diploma qualification in Business, Finance or Engineering field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the fuel retail industry. preferably in the fuel retail industry.
  • Must have proven experience of managing a Fuel Station in a busy area/location
  • Proven previous experience in finance, sales or business development.
  • Ability to build and maintain ethical and trusting relationships
  • Proven Retail Knowledge
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the fuel industry.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and financial reporting.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Membership with a relevant professional body will be a plus.
