Job Summary:
Chisamba Crest Solutions is seeking a proactive and analytical Risk Manager to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact our operations and objectives. This is a crucial role that will require you to develop comprehensive risk management strategies and implement effective risk assessment processes across all departments. You will work closely with senior management to ensure that risks are managed efficiently and effectively, fostering a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust risk management framework that aligns with organizational goals.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities across the business.
• Collaborate with department heads to evaluate and analyze risks, providing insights and recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports on risk exposure and mitigation strategies for presentation to senior management and the board of directors.
• Facilitate risk management training and workshops for employees to enhance risk awareness and promote a proactive approach to risk management.
• Establish and maintain a risk register to document identified risks, their impact, and mitigation actions.
• Respond to and investigate risk incidents, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CRM, FRM) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management or a related field, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in risk management software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.
