RISK OFFICER (01) – ECH4

Job Summary

Reporting to the Risk, Audit, & Compliance Manager, the job holder will be actively involved in the provision of superior oversight of the ZECHL operations including the National Financial Switch, the EFT and CIC system in ensuring that the risks are managed.

Key Attributes & Skills

1. Must give guidance on risk related issues to the various payment streams in the payment ecosystem.
2. Must be fully conversant and have hands-on experience with the risk assessment process.
3. Must have good knowledge of risk evaluation and be able to establish and quantify the Company’s Risk Appetite.
4. Must have in-depth knowledge of risk reporting in an appropriate way for the various stakeholders.
5. Must have traceable experience in supporting, educating, and training staff in building risk awareness within the organization.
6. Must possess investigative and analytical skills with a clear track record.
7. Must have traceable integrity with sound interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Grade 12 School Certificate with at least a credit in five subjects that must include English & Mathematics.
2. A bachelor’s degree in Banking, Risk Management, Finance, Accountancy or equivalent from a recognised institution.
3. Membership to a relevant Professional Body such as ACCA, CIMA, and/or ZICA.
4. At least two (02) Years’ relevant professional experience.
