JOB PURPOSE:
To facilitate the review risks in potential investments by ZCCM- IH and ensure that these investments are yielding returns with the necessary caution identified and taken. To enlighten the Management Investment Committee and Investment Committee of the Board with risks emanating from investments made by ZCCM-IH.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To identify risks arising from the strategic Partner and partnership thereafter so as to manage the risk accordingly.
Conducts assessments on risk impact arising from a Strategic Partner or partnership to enable the company to understand the risks at hand.
Identification of the risk mitigants and conducting of the cost/benefit analysis of the proposed mitigants from the proposed partner and Partnership or Project.
Provide a risk report on all proposed investment proposals highlighting the risks that come with the investment and develop mitigation strategies.
Give project support by identification and assessment of risks and mitigants relating to the project to manage the risk accordingly and reduce impact.
Review quarterly board pack and highlight pertinent issues for the attention of the representative Directors.
Conduct reviews on the performance of subsidiaries and other approved investments to ensure that all/any emerging risks are identified and escalated.
Continuous monitoring of the risks identified at MIC and ICB stage, follow up on implementation of the risk mitigations by the respective directorates
Conduct due diligence on projects/procurements on specific projects.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Not less than 4 Years Work experience in a busy and complex work environment experience in a similar Position
