    Job Summary:
   
   
   Chisamba Crest Solutions is looking for a dedicated Safety Officer to promote and ensure a safe working environment for all employees. As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with local and national safety regulations. Your role will be essential in fostering a culture of safety within the organization and minimizing workplace hazards.
  
  
   
    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and best practices.

    Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
   
 
   - 
    Organize and conduct safety training sessions and workshops for employees to ensure awareness and compliance with safety standards.
   
 
   - 
    Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for preventing future occurrences.
   
 
   - 
    Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for emergencies.
   
 
   - 
    Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports, ensuring that documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
   
 
   - 
    Monitor compliance with safety regulations and policies, addressing non-compliance issues as necessary.
   
 
   - 
    Stay current with industry trends and regulations, making recommendations for improvements to safety practices.
   
 
  
  
   
    Qualifications:
   
  
  
   - 
    Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
   
 
   - 
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management or a related field, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.
   
 
   - 
    Knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
   
 
   - 
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage employees.
   
 
   - 
    Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
