Job Description

MUBE INDUSTRIES LTD is an upcoming and innovative manufacturing company with a bias in beverages. The company is based in Kalulushi, Copperbelt. It’s mission is to provide health, quality and economical beverages across the country and beyond. Its slogan being Quality-On-Budget.

In order to achieve its mission of  providing health, quality and economical beverages across the country and beyond, the company seeks the services of Sales and Marketing Professions. The key roles for this position(s) is to promote and market its predominantly ginger based beverages to the following markets: Chingola/Chililabombwe, Mufulira/Luapula province  and Solwezi/North-Western Province.

The key roles for this position(s) is to promote and market its predominantly ginger based beverages to the following markets: Chingola/Chililabombwe, Mufulira/Luapula province  and Solwezi/North-Western Province.

Job Qualifications and Experience

Marketing and Sales Functions

o Liaise with CMO for best approach to implementing the marketing efforts in your region and make a plan

o Be aggressive in opening up new markets and meet targets

o Estimate both material and human resources required to open up and maintain such markets and present recommendations to management to facilitate the implementation

o Workout detailed budgets, compute BEP and payback period for opening up new markets

o Prepare standard reports including ROI analysis

o Carry out occasional market share and market potential research as well as forecasting and trends

o Ability to carry out competitor analysis and make informed decision to re-focus or restrategize

o Ability to analyze sales potential and close very small and big sales

o Ability to keep accurate records or database of both new and established customers and consistent follow-ups made to keep the relationship healthy

o Ability to carry out sales analysis and trends including tracking sales per customer

o Closely monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management

o Be alert to customers’ product opinions, complaints, suggestions regarding taste, package etc and promptly report to the company’s Research and Development (R&D) section for action or improvements to the overall product or processes

Job Qualifications and Experience

The minimum essential job qualifications and experience necessary for this position are:

o Grade Twelve School Certificate

o Member of ZIM

o Diploma  in Marketing

o 3-5 years experience in a marketing role with demonstrable experience opening and growing new markets

o Marketing experience in beverages will be an advantage

o Driver’s License Class B or better with a minimum of two years experience

o Fluency in computer programs relevant to marketers like spreadsheets and Sales and Marketing Pro etc

o Excellent communication, negotiation, organisation and presentation skills

o Ability to work both independently and as a team

o Competency in the dominant language of the region chosen is a must

o Must have local knowledge of the chosen region
