DGM Beverages Limited is an equal opportunity employer and hereby invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for appointment to the position of Sales Clerk to join its dynamic and proactive team.
The interested candidate will be responsible for

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships

Promote, and sell our products to existing and prospective customers

Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the scheduled time
-
Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
-
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
-
Support the sales team
-
Produce a weekly and monthly Sales and Distribution report
-
Prepares sales forecasts and draws up distribution plans. Monitors and reviews the forecast and plans daily, weekly, and monthly
-
Have comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of all product’s unique selling points, features, and those of the competition
-
Liaises with appropriate team members to ensure that trucks are loaded on time to avoid delays in dispatch
-
Attends to customer queries

To communicate effectively with the team
-
Maintains discipline within the department to ensure a harmonious working environment exists
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and skills
-
Grade 12 Certificate
-
Diploma in Marketing or related field
-
Proven 3 years of work experience in sales
-
Highly motivated Sober mind, self-starter, physically fit, honest, team player, and target-driven person with a proven track record in sales
-
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
-
Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
