Overview:
Tadala Multipurpose Association is seeking a dynamic and motivated Intern Sales Representative to join our team for the Aquaponics Initiative Project. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and marketing while contributing to a sustainable agriculture project that aims to revolutionize the Agricultural Sector.
Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing:

Actively promote and sell aquaponics systems to households, institutions and community members.

Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness and generate interest in the aquaponics initiative.

Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
Customer Engagement:

Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing customers.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing detailed information about the aquaponics systems.
Lead Generation:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively reaching out to individuals, community groups, and local organizations.

Utilize various channels, including social media, community events, and partnerships, to generate leads.
Collaboration:

Collaborate with the project team to understand the technical aspects of aquaponics systems and effectively communicate the benefits to potential customers.

Work closely with colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience from sales to installation.
Data Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and leads.

Prepare monthly reports on sales performance, challenges, and potential areas for improvement.
Training and Development:

Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Proactively seek opportunities for professional development within the field of sales and marketing.
Qualifications:

Grade 12 Certificate

Current enrollment in a relevant program or recent graduate will be an added advantage.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Enthusiastic about sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation.

Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
