PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide customer service and care in an effort of identifying, anticipating, and satisfying customer needs and coordinates branch activities in an effective and professional manner.

Key Performance Areas

To include, but not limited to:

• Always behave in an ethical and professional manner, taking an open and honest approach to all responsibilities.
• To close sales using a consultative approach which advises customers on the range of products available and sells in the best fit for them
• To confirm that charges/payments raised are aligned to the company schedule and any discrepancies are instantly addressed/ rectified.
• To reconcile all invoices against job card on weekly basis and submit to the finance department.
• Conducts daily/weekly/monthly spot checks of branch registers.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Ability to work with detail, follow directions and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to listen and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to be self-motivated, target driven and result oriented.
• Ability to answer and resolve inquiries in a timely and accurate manner using good judgment and proven problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, including the protection of our clients and prospective clients’ confidentiality.
• Ability to express oneself clearly and effectively in both oral and written form.
• Ability to operate all necessary office equipment required to accomplish job duties such as copiers and scanners.

Educational Requirements

• A degree in a Business Administration or any business-related field with a sales background

A background in the insurance industry will be an added advantage
