Job Purpose

The Sales Representative will be expected to achieve and exceed gift products sales targets and objectives. Develop and implement customer plans and servicing customers. Implements marketing plans, pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Achieve and exceed sales targets by customer: Volume, Value, Margin, Service Level
Ensure accurate forecasting and information for S&OP (sales and demand planning)
Develop and manage customer relationships through sales calls, value-added activities and business reviews
Implement customer plans, unique strategy executions ( including sales, brand & channel activations ) to deliver market-leading value propositions
Identify and evaluate competitor strong stores and new business opportunities in line with company strategy, to gain share and grow sales
Identify and report on market and competitor information and activity through weekly status reports and monthly sales reports (Insights)
Sell & demonstrate the full range of the products
Provide product knowledge training to retailers and end-users
Ensure good corporate governance and adherence to SOP & business rules

Primary Areas of Accountability:

Qualification and Experience

Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Related Commercial Field
Must have a minimum of 3-4 years of working experience in the Sales and Marketing
Must have 1-2 years experience in sales and marketing of promotional gifts and clothing
Must be outgoing and people person
Must have a clean valid driver’s license
Must be a member of ZIM
