Job Purpose
The Sales Representative will responsible for generating leads and providing appropriate solutions for customers to boost customer acquisition levels. Analyse market potential and track sales apart from working towards profitability goals. Work with the Sales Manager to make sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.

Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations

Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
-
Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
-
Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
-
Understanding and promoting company programs.
-
Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
-
Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
-
Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
-
Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing/products/trends in the market
-
Planning and Coordinating Marketing Intelligence activities
-
Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions via team effort
-
Keep up to date with the best practices and trends in the industry
-
Coordinate sales efforts with marketing and company programs
-
Preparing and giving sales presentations to prospective clients

Negotiating contracts with clients

Manage month-end closing processes
-
Build strong customer relationships to ensure they are satisfied and long-lasting customers

Receive feedback and work on it to resolve issues

Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications and Experience
-
Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Business Administration
-
Must have a minimum of 2-3 years progressive experience in sales.
-
Must have proven
sales and marketing experience for the Copperbelt region for more than 2 years
-
Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
-
A commitment to excellent customer service.
-
Excellent knowledge on the use of a Smart Phone
-
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
-
Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
-
