St Dominic Boys Secondary School is based in Mushindamo District, Zambia and is looking for a Secondary School Principal

Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced educational leader to serve as the Secondary Principal of our prestigious school. As a Secondary Principal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our students and guiding a team of dedicated educators. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the continued success of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide visionary leadership to the Secondary School, ensuring the highest standards of academic excellence, student welfare, and professional development.
• Foster a positive school culture that promotes inclusivity, diversity, and respect among students, staff, and parents.
• Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with national and international standards and promotes critical thinking, creativity, and holistic development.
Lead and support a team of educators by providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Secondary School, including student discipline, extracurricular activities, and event planning.
Act as a liaison between the Secondary School, parents, and the school administration, ensuring open and effective communication.
Promote and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment that supports the well-being and growth of students.

Qualifications
• A relevant Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.
• A Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• A teaching qualification from an accredited provider.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant Curriculum Coordinator or Secondary Principal experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably in an international school setting.
• Teaching certification or qualification in educational leadership.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of educators.
• Commitment to fostering a multicultural and inclusive educational environment.
