Security Guard Trainer & Recruitment Compliance Officer

Job Overview:
Bienvenue Private Security Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Security Guard Trainer & Recruitment Compliance Officer to lead the end-to-end training, recruitment, and vetting process of all frontline officers. This role ensures that all new and existing guards meet the company’s high operational and ethical standards through comprehensive training and strict background verification.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver induction and refresher training programs for new and existing security officers.
Conduct on-site drills and simulations covering patrols, access control, incident response, public interaction, and conflict de-escalation.
Monitor and assess officer performance during training and recommend further development where needed.
Stay updated on best practices, new threats, and legal requirements in the security industry.
Recruitment Responsibilities
Assist HR in identifying manpower needs and support the full recruitment cycle for security officers.
Organize and conduct interviews, physical fitness assessments, and onboarding sessions.
Maintain an up-to-date database of shortlisted candidates and recruitment pipelines.
Background Checks & Vetting
Lead all background verification processes including:
Contacting references (minimum 2 per candidate)
NRC and address verification
Fingerprint clearance in collaboration with national security agencies
Criminal record checks and residential history reviews
Ensure every recruit is thoroughly vetted before deployment.
Maintain strict confidentiality and secure handling of all personal data and documentation.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Certificate in Security Management, Law Enforcement, Human Resource Management, or related field.
Minimum 3 years experience in security operations, recruitment, or training.
Prior experience working in security services, law enforcement, or military is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of Zambian labor and security compliance regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive information discreetly.
