It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, stockfeed and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.
SECURITY OFFICER – NOVATEK LUSAKA (X1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Capture and record details of all vehicles buying and selling goods at Novatek in the Zambeef utility and ensure that the vehicles are cleared out on the utility when the transaction is completed.
Check parcels, pockets and suspicious items.
Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.
Count and verify goods being dispatched and physical inspection during the loading of the goods
Ensure that the goods received have been recorded at the gate and that the vehicle offloading has a permit from security at the gate.
Ensure that the goods being delivered have a valid Novatek purchase order that has been approved by senior management.
Verify that the goods being delivered are the same as those on the purchase order.
Verify that the delivered goods are accompanied by the required documentation i.e., delivery note, and tax invoice.
Check loading of trucks with finished goods as indicated on the invoice, supported by Release Order, Loading Order and Proof of First Weight.
Count and complete the Security Counting Sheets accurately as the truck is being loaded.
Ensure that the correct feed or raw materials is being loaded by comparing the tags, were applicable, against the invoice.
Ensure that company property is secure from misappropriation and or reports instances of suspect.
The Required Qualifications are:
Grade 12 School Certificate
1 year work experience
