Job Description

The Advertiser seeks to employ suitably qualified individuals to fill the positions of Security Officers.

Responsibilities:

Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry
Respond to alarms and security incidents, investigate disturbances, and provide assistance in resolving emergencies
Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to employees, clients, and visitors

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role
High school Certificate [Grade 12] or equivalent
Thorough understanding of security procedures and protocols
Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment and alarm systems
Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended period.
additional training or certification in security management is a plus but not required.
