PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Develop, implement and maintain a Compliance Management Framework to ensure compliance to relevant regulations, standards and policies. Promote a culture of compliance, integrity, and accountability across all operations of the company.
MAIN DUTIES
- Implement compliance risk management framework
- Develop and execute compliance policies, procedures, and systems in alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory standards.
- Ensure incident management and setting compliance controls to effectively manage risks.
- Ensure effective compliance monitoring mechanisms, including audits, inspections, and investigations.
- Prepare and present regular compliance reports to management, highlighting risks and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide regular updates on compliance management and implement compliance program.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. Identify and implement specific compliance priorities for the Business Area, plan and prioritize activities based on risk on a prescribed cycle.
- Investigate and report compliance breaches and record agreed remedial actions.
- Ensure all contracts are valid and monitor contract performance.
- Provide information to internal and external stakeholders for appropriate decision making.
- Serve as a compliance resource, providing guidance on regulatory matters to employees and management
- Conduct training/ sensitization workshops on compliance to all stakeholders

Academic /Professional Qualifications:
- Full grade 12 certificate (5 ‘0’ levels) with credit or better in Mathematics and English
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, Commerce, Economics, Risk or equivalent.
- Professional certification in risk management (e.g., CRMA, IRM) is an added advantage
- At least 3 years’ experience in a relevant position.
- Membership to a relevant professional body is a must.
