Key Responsibilities:
* Sales & Marketing of crop protection chemicals with the goal to achieve sales objectives /targets for the region.
* Providing technical backup and advice to Commercial farmers, Agro dealers and to Agricultural Institutions
* Seasonal product demand & sales forecast for the region
* General management of the region, which includes stock management, debtor collection and sales strategy & implementation.
* Technical Support and training to the Agronomy team. (Internal capacity building)
* Conducting product trials development and assessments – including new products.
* Coordination of field days and training of farmers. (External capacity building)
* Maintain industry awareness regarding technical developments via networking, personal development and trainings
* Brand management & promotion
Requirements:
* 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
* Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field.
* In-depth knowledge of crop management, soil science, and sustainable farming practices.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
