*Location:* Various customer sites (local and/or national travel)
*Job Summary:*
Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment/systems at customer sites. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Pre-Installation and Installation:*
1. Review site requirements and equipment specifications.
2. Conduct site surveys to determine installation feasibility.
3. Install equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer instructions and industry standards.
*Maintenance and Repair:*
1. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting.
2. Diagnose and repair faults, replacing parts as needed.
3. Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
*Troubleshooting and Resolution:*
1. Identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
2. Collaborate with customers to understand problems and provide solutions.
3. Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or technical support.
*Customer Service:*
1. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring satisfaction.
2. Communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
3. Build strong customer relationships.
*Documentation and Administration:*
1. Complete service reports, maintenance records, and other documentation.
2. Manage inventory, ordering parts and materials as needed.
3. Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
*Safety and Quality:*
1. Adhere to safety procedures, regulations, and industry standards.
2. Ensure quality workmanship, meeting company and industry standards.
*Travel and Flexibility:*
1. Travel to customer sites, potentially nationwide.
2. Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
*Requirements:*
1. Technical certification or degree in relevant field (e.g., electronics, mechanical).
2. 5+ years of field service experience.
3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
7. Physical ability to lift, carry, and work in confined spaces.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
1. Industry-specific certifications (e.g.,H.E.R. or HVAC, industrial equipment).
2. Experience with CRM software and service diagnoses management tools.
3. Knowledge of networking protocols and communication systems.
