SNR HR OFFICER
Job description

Manage day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
-
Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
-
Process documentation, contracts and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
-
Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
-
Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
-
Payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
-
Communicate with public services and labor office when necessary
-
Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
-
Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interview
-
Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
-
Work hand in hand with our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
-
Full Grade 12 Certificate
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration or equivalent
-
Experience; Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role.

Must be a registered and active member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) or similar body with a valid practicing certificate
-
Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)

Basic knowledge of labor laws
-
Strong communications skills
