We support organisations across diverse sectors including mining, tourism, compliance, business management, geological services, exploration support, and advisory functions.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Human Resource Officer to lead strategic and operational HR functions, strengthen internal HR structures, and support client-facing HR activities.
Role Summary:
The Senior HR Officer will manage talent acquisition, employee relations, HR compliance, organizational development, and performance management. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of driving HR excellence and delivering consistent, professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
• Implement structured performance appraisal systems and support managers with evaluations
• Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate development programs
• Manage grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters
• Coordinate payroll inputs, salary benchmarking, and statutory benefits (NAPSA, NHIMA, PAYE)
• Develop and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with Zambian labour laws
• Support organizational structuring, job grading, and workforce planning
• Maintain HR dashboards, analytics, and employee records (HRIS)
• Drive employee engagement, wellness, and safety initiatives
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 5–7 years’ HR experience (consultancy, mining, or technical industries preferred)
• Membership with ZIHRM (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR compliance
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work with diverse teams and senior stakeholders
