Job Title: Senior Manager Commercial Planning, Pricing & Operations.

This function is responsible for Managing and leading the department that provides commercial /pricing decision support to the commercial teams to enable the respective commercial functions to have a deeper understanding of commercial performance drivers and outlook via robust commercial planning, business intelligence, innovative pricing and performance reporting and Champion the prioritisation of commercial projects in line with available resources and expected impact as well as its post execution impact assessment and tracking..

• Under the supervision of the Chief Commercial Officer, below are the Key Job Responsibilities;
• Develop Models for Business Cases for Products & Services, Promotions, Events and other commercial interventions to ensure viability before roll out;
• Ensure that there is a robust methodology for Impact assessments (Measurements & Evaluations) for product& services, promotions, events and other commercial interventions to inform further decision making actions;
• Ensures that the commercial planning, Pricing & Operations (CP,P&O) team makes available daily/weekly/monthly commercial reports to the business for insights that impact decision making;
• Review and implement tariffs to ensure strategic objectives are achieved whilst ensuring pricing policies, procedures, process and guidelines are complied with across the business;
• Maintain a library of price book, competitor pricing and industry pricing visibility;
• Maintain a library of evidence in adherence to Pricing Governance, Regulation Compliance and Impact Assessment of all pricing initiatives;
• Prepare, manage and control of commercial Opex Budget;
• Monitor and review operational and strategic risk related to the Marketing & Digital Functions;
• Manage and track efficient utilization and prioritization of company resources towards the most impactful or strategic business projects.

Candidate Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate with 5 credits or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
• First degree in Finance/ Accounting or a related discipline;
• A post graduate degree MBA or Professional Certification in Finance, Accounting, will be advantageous;
• 8 years’ work experience which includes: Management track record of 5 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry as per relevant role and Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise (understanding commercial impact assessment is advantageous).
