Reporting to Branch Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12
• Qualified Electrician (preferable)
• 2-3 years’ experience in similar position
• Technical aptitude and knowledge of catering equipment would be advantageous
• Electrical and Mechanical skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and willing to travel
• A full CV with valid references

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build relationships with existing and new clients
• Liaise with the relevant Service Co-ordinator and other stakeholders
• Complete service in accordance with the schedule and request forms
• Plan the daily route to optimize efficiency in completing jobs issued
• Planning and organising of repair projects including out of town projects
• Conducting routine inspections of machinery and equipment as per customer request
• Diagnosing faults and malfunctions in the equipment
• Performing repairs and replacing defective parts
• Carrying out preventative maintenance to ensure high reliability of equipment
• Providing technical support and advise to customers
• Ensuring compliance with industry safety and quality standards
• Stocktaking in the company vehicle and warehouse as per company policy
