Job Details

The SME Banking Manager is responsible for managing the SME banking portfolio for Lupiya. This includes developing strategies to increase market share and profitability, overseeing the processing and monitoring of loan applications, and managing relationships with existing and prospective customers. The SME Banking Manager will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of the SME banking portfolio and providing advice and guidance to the bank’s management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and profitability of the SME banking portfolio

• Oversee the processing of loan applications and ensure compliance with banking regulations

• Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess credit worthiness of potential customers

• Manage relationships with existing and prospective customers

• Monitor the performance of the SME banking portfolio and provide advice and guidance to the bank’s management

• Maintain an up to date knowledge of banking regulations and industry trends

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations

• Prepare and present reports to the bank’s management

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

• 5+ years of experience in a banking environment

• Proven track record of successful SME lending

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of banking regulations and industry trends

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
