Social Media Assistant (Creative & Shrewd)

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly creative, shrewd, and self-driven Social Media Assistant to elevate our online presence and help our brand make meaningful connections. This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives on creativity, understands the power of visuals and storytelling, and knows how to tap into the pulse of social media trends to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Craft original, platform-appropriate content—text, graphics, and short-form video—that reflects our brand voice and engages our target audience.

Design: Use Canva (or similar tools) to create clean, captivating, and consistent visuals across all platforms.

Posting & Scheduling: Manage daily posting across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others using scheduling tools for consistency and timing.

Calendar Management: Build and maintain a forward-looking content calendar that aligns with campaigns, product launches, and brand moments.

Trend Spotting: Stay updated with platform changes, viral trends, and competitor activity to keep our content fresh and relevant.

Audience Engagement: Respond to messages, comments, and tags in a tone that aligns with the brand (as guided).

WhatsApp Engagement & Sales: Respond professionally and promptly to customer inquiries on WhatsApp, share product information, convert leads into sales, and follow up with interested clients.

Performance Monitoring: Track post performance and engagement metrics, contributing to monthly reporting.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Manager to align on strategy and priorities.

Other duties as needed to support creative campaigns and storytelling initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:
A creative and proactive thinker with a strong eye for aesthetics and storytelling.

Prior experience managing social media pages (portfolio or examples required).

Strong design skills using tools like Canva. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Solid writing and communication skills across captions, stories, and short-form scripts.

A shrewd, strategic mindset that understands engagement, timing, and virality.

Familiarity with WhatsApp Business features and experience handling customer conversations and inquiries professionally.

Ability to self-manage, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple priorities.

A genuine passion for social media, branding, and customer connection.
