Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia works with the world’s most cherished trademark and invests in the most exciting events. Our Office currently has the following opportunity available for a dynamic individual with energy and initiative, keen to impact from the outset.
The position falls under Sales and Marketing Department and will report to the Trade Marketing Manager. The main responsibilities of the Special Events and Graphic Designer will be to communicate ideas, messages and values through visual elements such as logos, icons, graphics, images and text. The Events and Graphic Designer will also manage and develop relationships with existing and potential events’ Organisers through well executed Events and Timely Deliveries. This role will drive day to day enhancement of the organization’s visual presence, communicating it’s message and contributing to it’s brand recognition and success.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Design and development of visual solutions to communicate required messages

Design distinct logos to communicate

Design marketing/promotional material
-
Creative thinker with a strong eye for design and attention to detail

Able to assist with promotional activities, presentations and customer visits

An ability to put in the hours, withstand a high pressure work environment and go the extra mile to beat deadlines

Competing in an increasingly international competitive environment to achieve market leading position across participating NARTD categories

Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast growth environment

Skills, Experience & Education
|
-
Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design
-
A minimum of 2 years previous sales experience (external) or Merchandiser with previous Rep experience
-
Proficient in design and office applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Word and PPT
-
A minimum of 2 years previous sales experience (external) or Merchandiser with previous Rep experience
-
A track record of delivering results in a Sales role that focused on building capability
-
Experience in multiple-country/region experience will be an advantage
-
Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
-
Tenacious and resilient, a drive to achieve when faced with obstacles with speed of urgency
-
Leadership and interpersonal skills; capable of building strong working relationships and influencing customers and internal teams

Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues
